FAQ

FAQ Schema Generator questions.

What is FAQ schema?

FAQPage structured data marks up a list of questions and answers in a format search engines and AI systems can read directly. It describes which text on your page is a question and which is its answer.

Does Google still show FAQ rich results?

No. Google removed the FAQ rich result from regular search results in 2026, so the expandable snippet no longer shows for most sites. FAQ schema still has value for Bing rich results, Google AI Overviews and answer engines like Perplexity and ChatGPT that read structured data to source answers.

Which pages can use FAQ schema?

Pages with a genuine list of frequently asked questions and answers. The questions and answers must be visible on the page itself, not hidden or only in the markup.

How many questions should I add?

There is no fixed limit, but two to ten focused, genuinely useful questions work best. Avoid padding with thin or repetitive answers just to fill the markup.
